Quick question regarding stacks and the flow of the attack phase. I'm declaring a party attack with Knight and Wakka. He declares a Block with Snow and stacks playing Shiva to dull and freeze a target forward. He chooses knight. Then he stacks Snow's Vendetta ability to give snow 2000 power and first strike. The stack resolves in reverse order, Vendetta, Shiva then Snows Block. Now the question is would knight be affected by Shiva's dull and freeze and be un-partied with wakka or would they stay partied, as the flow of the attack phase states that they dull when I declare my attack.

My following and understanding of this is that they would still party atk as you have already dulled them. He would have to play this before you declared the party.

Thanks. Another question, when you go to declare Block stage of the attack phase, if you can't block, since you have no active forwards, can you still use this time to activate an ability, or are you forced to stack it in the attack declaration phase?

Yes you can still play abilities at this time as you can declare them anytime during the block step, even though i have no blockers there is still a block step of the attack phase.

In your example, you would have to use Aerith's ability at the end of the "Choosing an attacker" step. If you wait for the end of the "Choosing a Blocker" step, it's too late to choose a Blocker.

you can activate as your opponent finishes his attack step as i can activate abilities at the beginning of block phase and then choose a blocker.

You get priority at the end of the attack and Blocking step, not at the start.

Do you have a pic from anywhere or link as the rules just state that abilities may be used. As they can be used at any time during the attack or block steps.
Action window 1 = before anything declared Action window 2 = during atk declaration Action window 3 = during block declaration
I believe this is right, correct me if I'm wrong.
What do you mean by priority?

It's a bit more like
Action window 1 = before anything declared Action window 2 = after atk declaration Action window 3 = after block declaration
Maybe I'm nitpicking a bit? It's hard to say sometimes when small rules differences are important or not.
Priority is the time when a player can play cards and abilities. It gets passed between each player during each phase and step and when thing go on and off the stack.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but it doesn't state the timing of any of it, just states that they may be used.
