Hi there, I'm looking into building Fire/Wind, focusing on unblockable attacks mainly with Zidane/Yuffie, and backed up by Burn spells. Has anybody tried anything similar? or got any advice on what to put into the build? It seems to be the fire side I struggle with, whether I should use some fire Clouds and fuel Light Cloud, or if I should use Lann. Any ideas guys?

I'm not 100% sure on this right now, but i'm sorting all my cards tomorrow when my folder (hopefully) arrives - so i'll be looking over everything in a bit more detail. So I can give you some suggestions if others havnt!

I use this as my main deck, turned the FF7 deck into it after I took out the earth from it. Lann is excellent in this build, also put in hasty onion knight, a couple of light clouds and tifa (she is good early game for some hasty beats). So far I have only tested it against the starter decks and it generally has about a 80% win ratio, but then a custom deck against a pre made one I dont think that's unusual.
When the meta evolved and more decks appear i'll tune it against those decks and see how it performs.

Maybe switch out Y'shtola for lann and try fit a 1x or 2x vaan in there. But I like keeping to like 3 cost and below as it's meant to rush.

See, I'd keep her. Doing spot damage is great in this kind of game, especially compared to partial evasion.

Valefor 1-062-L is great for stopping Shantotto or Cloud of Darkness ruining your day.
I would highly recommend considering big Chocobo for this deck. Yuffie and Zidane can get blocked profitable by quite a few of the Standard Units, Chocobo can help you get over rather than through.
1-186-L Sephiroth is great for stopping Minwu hose your damage.

Hey guys, been a while since I posted but I've proxied up a deck in that time and been testing cards out, here is what I've settled on so far:
Fire: 3 Cloud C 1 Cloud S 3 Tifa C 3 Tifa S
2 Ifrit 3 Brynhildr 3 Bahamut Fury
3 Zangan 2 Black Mage 3 Red Mage
Wind: 3 Zidane 3 Yuffie R 2 Yuffie C 1 Y'shtola
1 Alexander 1 Valefor L
2 Aerith R 2 Aerith C 3 Archer 2 Dancer 1 Maria
Light: 2 Cloud L 1 Cosmos
A few points:
-only using 2 Cloud Ls from personal preference, the fact that they cannot be discard for mana made me decide to use one Cloud S instead, so far it's been working great - Couldn't find room for Lann, but he worked great against FFX control. - Alexander feels like a dead card right now, might switch it out for something else - Turn 1 Zidane was enough to make an Ice/lightning deck scoop

Vaan + 2 dancer backups works great for me. plus Zidane/yuffie.
